MUD 6: Brooke Hamilton

I am asking for your vote to continue to serve as a Director of Montgomery County Municipal Utility District 6. I have served on this Board for the last twelve years. My reelection would provide substantial continuity for this Board.

Working with the other Directors, we have been able to substantially reduce the tax rate. This has been accomplished while at the same time assuring sufficient funding for repairs and maintenance of a very old system. We Have been working to reduce expenses including reducing the number of Director meetings.

The Board has worked to put this District in a strong financial position. This would help us obtain additional funding should it be needed to assist the County’s future efforts to mitigate flooding. The MUD 6 Board is ready to help where we can.

MUD 6 does not have a flooding problem.

My work experience and education have been valuable in my role as Director. I was the Vice President - Finance and Treasurer of Mitchell Energy & Development Corp., the company that developed The Woodlands. I have a B.S. In Chemical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration.

My family and I have lived in The Woodlands since 1984. A well functioning water and sewer system is important to our area maintaining its rating as the seventh best place to live in the United States.
