There is no meeting for the GMVA in August. We will see you again in September on Monday, September 17, 2018. The meeting begins at 6:30 at The Woodlands Township building.

CISD Back to School August 15
CISD schools are back in session starting Wednesday, August 15. Slow down and watch for kids as they make their way to school.
School days bring congestion: Yellow school buses are picking up their charges, kids on bikes are hurrying to get to school before the bell rings, harried parents are trying to drop their kids off before work.
It's never more important for drivers to slow down and pay attention than when kids are present – especially before and after school.
Township Launches Swan Boats along the Waterway
The Woodlands Township launched 10 swan pedal boats on The Woodlands Waterway on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at Riva Row Park. The new recreational amenity was approved for purchase by the Board of Directors on June 5, 2018.

Township Celebrates Labor Day Weekend at Waterway Square
The Woodlands Township invites residents and visitors to relax and enjoy Labor Day weekend at Waterway Square with a celebration on Sunday, September 2, 2018, from 4 to 9 p.m. The event takes place at 31 Waterway Square Place and will feature live music, children’s activities, strolling entertainers and more. Fireworks will also complete the evening, weather permitting.

Fall 2018 Action Guide Now Available Online
Fall is almost here, and residents are encouraged to make the most of the season by experiencing all The Woodlands Township has to offer. The Fall 2018 Action Guide is now available online at www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/actionguide, so residents can begin scheduling their fall activities. The Action Guide will be featured in the September 2018 issue of The Woodlands Community Magazine, and hard copies will also be available at both Township recreation centers in September.

Join Us Every Saturday at The Woodlands Farmer's Market
The days may be hot, but customers at The Woodlands Farmer's Market are braving the heat to find the perfect produce and best products to enjoy throughout the week. The market is open every Saturday from 8am to noon, rain or shine. Most Saturdays, we have live music and a food truck. That is in addition to our regular lineup of vendors that sell everything from produce to eggs to meat to artisan goods. Stop by and see where your neighbors go on Saturday mornings!
August Yard of the Month Announced
The Grogan’s Mill Village Associate August Yard of the Month Award proudly goes to Ms. Mary L. Ross (President of Mary Ross Custom Homes). Ms. Ross lives in the Grogan’s Mill Village neighborhood of East Shore. By any measure, Ms. Ross’ garden is magnificent, and it regularly bursts with varieties of scent filled blooms. She performs all of the gardening chores herself.
